Miami English Center offers four types of programs: General English, Business English, TOEFL/IELTS Preparation, and Private classes. ALL the courses are currently ONLINE.

General English

​

This program is designed to improve every aspect of the language - speaking, listening, reading, and writing while working on grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. The main focus of the program is to help students become more fluent and more confident when communicating in English. All lessons are based on communication-centered activities, and use modern teaching methods and exclusive materials. In every class, teachers will provide students with structured learning tasks and monitor their progress, giving them feedback, correction, and guidance. Each lesson has clear objectives that contribute to the overall progress and moves students closer to achieving their language goals.

Business English

​

This program is designed to help students develop the language needed to communicate effectively in the workplace and be competitive in global business. The focus of the program is to give students confidence in everyday business and professional situations such as business meetings, presentations, negotiations, business correspondence, telephoning, networking, etc. The topics cover all main areas of business – management, financing, marketing, ethics, strategy, and business relationships, providing students with the necessary business vocabulary and building intercultural communication skills.

TOEFL/IELTS Preparation

This program is designed to help students increase their prospects of obtaining the result they need. Instructors will introduce each section of the test and will assist with problem areas. Instructors will guide you through each section (Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing) and, using archived past test questions, will explain the kinds of questions you can expect. You will receive valuable advice, including how to register for the test, how it is scored, and how to prepare for test day. More importantly, the program reviews strategies and skills for taking the exam, including the most valuable tips. Students should be high intermediate or advanced in their English ability.

Private classes

​

This program is designed to meet the English language learning needs of a wide range of students across the proficiency levels, from absolute beginners with no knowledge of English to those with advanced English proficiency. Highly customizable and taught by experienced, certified teachers, this program is the perfect choice for students who need a class schedule that fits their busy lifestyle. English instruction is available in our school, at your home or office for maximum convenience.
